The Natural Resources program at TVCC provides a well-rounded education, hands-on learning experience, and quality transfer opportunities that enabled me to obtain my M.S. position conducting lake whitefish research on Lake Michigan.

Current Job: Range Technician with the Forest Service

The Natural Resource program at TVCC provided me with the skills and valuable field experiences that allowed me to pursue opportunities as a Wildlife Habitat Technician with IDFG, Forestry Tech with the USFS, and my current position with the USFS as a Range Tech. The education gained through the NR program created the opportunities for me to thrive at Oregon State University and graduate with honors. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Natural Resources, with an emphasis on Forest Restoration & Habitat Conservation in 2021.

This program gave me the opportunity to network within the natural resource field, leading to job opportunities that have brought me to where I am today.
