ONTARIO, Ore. (Sept. 2, 2026) — Treasure Valley Community College is inviting the community to the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of the Evelyn S. Dame Nursing & Allied Health Professions Center!
The new $14.6 million, 30,000-square-foot complex will allow the College to nearly double the capacity of students. It will also allow TVCC to offer its first baccalaureate program: an RN-to-BSN degree which will launch in the fall term with its first cohort.
TVCC is home to the top nursing program in the state among community colleges, and No. 2 overall, according to Registered Nursing.org.
“Th Evelyn S. Dame Nursing & Allied Health Professions Center will be one of the best facilities in the state, befitting of the best nursing program in the state,” said TVCC President Dr. Dana M. Young. “This program is special to me personally. My mother earned her nursing degree from TVCC, and I get emotional thinking of how far our program has come, and what this new building means for the future of our healthcare students, faculty, and staff.”
Nursing is one of TVCC’s legacy programs, starting concurrent with the College in 1962, and the current nursing building opened in 1963. The Evelyn S.
