Grad Gift

Calling All 2026 High School Graduates!
You can take a summer class at Treasure Valley Community College for FREE
ONTARIO, Ore. (April 13, 2026) — TVCC is proud to continue its Grad Gift program this year, helping high school graduates take the next step with one free college class this summer (see website for exclusions). Whether students are headed somewhere in the fall and want to get ahead, curious about college but not sure where to start, or just want to build a skill that matters, this is a low-risk, real-results way to find out what college can do for them.
The Grad Gift of a free summer course is open to all 2026 high school graduates, regardless of high school or state of residence. Priority applications are due by June 8, and registration closes June 18.
Last year, 60% of students who took advantage of the free course registered for and completed the subsequent fall term at TVCC. Of those who completed the fall term, 100% continued through the winter term.
“We know that students who enroll for a summer college course following high school graduation are more likely to persist,” said TVCC President Dr. Dana M. Young. “This is a way for any high school graduate to get started or get ahead, so come check out what TVCC is all about this summer!”
