TREASURE VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION CAPS SUCCESSFUL YEAR WITH DONOR NIGHT CELEBRATION
TVCC Foundation awarded over 200 scholarships worth more than $400,000 in 2025-26
ONTARIO, Ore. (April 24, 2026) — The Treasure Valley Community College Foundation recognized students receiving scholarships, the generosity of the donors that helped support education, and a successful 2025-26 academic year at its annual Donor Night event, held last night.
The TVCC Foundation proudly dispersed more than $400,000 across more than 200 scholarships to over a hundred individual students in attendance at last night’s event. The night also celebrated the Secretary of the Foundation Board, Debbie Blackaby, with the Outstanding Volunteer award, honoring her dedication to the Foundation and all of Treasure Valley Community College.
During the 2025-26 academic year, the TVCC Foundation has assisted with the following:
- Total scholarships: 229
- Awarded scholarship funds: $477,632
- Active grants: 35
- Total Foundation assets: $14.4 million
“Scholarships truly make a difference in the lives of the students we serve, and we are so grateful to all the friends and supporters who make it possible,” said TVCC Foundation Executive Director Cathy Yasuda. “Contributions like these enable us to award more scholarships, expand programs, and create new opportunities for our students. Thank you for making an investment in our community and in our future.”
The TVCC Foundation helped raise funds for the soon-to-be-completed Evelyn S. Dame Nursing and Allied Health Professions Center, which is 85% complete and scheduled to open this summer. Through its major gifts campaign, the Foundation assisted the College in raising $13.8 million for the state-of-the-art complex, including a $1 million contribution from Kelly and Evelyn Dame.

to pursue their educational goals, and to strengthen and expand the academic programs
and services offered by Treasure Valley Community College. The Foundation is a private,

managed by a volunteer Board of Directors which represents area businesses, alumni
and friends of the college throughout the Western Treasure Valley.
